The Old Boys Reunion
In the summer of 1920 Almonte celebrated 100 years of settlement in the area. Thousands of former Almonters returned to their native town to take part. Pinehurst hosted a garden party and Mrs. Alex Rosamond designed a float "The Ship of State" for the Grand Parade, one of the highlights of the weeklong celebrations.
